Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal. A big, bustling city, it's liveliness and craziness can overwhelm at times, but mostly I found it captivating. A turn down a random alley or into a side courtyard often yields something eye-catching. These images were taken in and around the city, including at the temple complexes of Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath, and Bodhnath which lie in the town's outskirts. |
