On the border of Argentina and Brazil, the Iguazu river pours over a basalt plateau, forming a mile-wide array of hundreds of waterfalls. The views are worthwhile from both the Argentinian and Brazilian sides of the falls (which are known in Brazil as Iguacu). Also included here are images from a nearby bird park where it is possible to see many local birds and butterflies up close from within aviaries. |
