Patagonia is the southern region of the South American continent. Thousands of miles of open ocean to the west allow fierce storms to brew up and then slam into the peaks at the spine of the continent, leading to the renowned rough weather. It is a rugged and beautiful place. The images here are from Los Glaciares National Park and surrounds in Argentina, and from Torres Del Paine National Park in Chile. |
