The Masai people historically have been known for their cattle herding and their prowess at warfare. Now a prevalent activity seems to be selling photo ops to visitors. While the resulting cool, businesslike interaction is definitely not the way I prefer to photograph people, it does allow them to benefit from tourism in a quite direct way. |
