From the rim of Ngorongoro Crater, where the lodges and campsites sit, you can look down through the acacia trees to the crater floor 2000 feet below and actually discern herds of animals moving about. Once you drive down into the crater, the quantity and diversity of wildlife present is truly amazing. |
