We did a combination mountaineering and river rafting trip when we visited Lake Clark National Park. While the Tlikakila does get floated somewhat regularly, up in the glacial cirques you feel (perhaps correctly!) that no one may have stood in that spot before you. One of our great pleasures on this trip was coming up with our own names for all the unnamed features around us. |
