The Picket Range is located in the heart of North Cascades National Park. It is one of the most inaccessible, wild, and rugged areas in the continental United States, and not coincidentally one of the most scenic. Massive rock spires soar up from mantles of ice, all hovering over deep lush valleys below. (Oh, did I mention the bushwhacking?) These are images from my first, of now many, trips into the range. |
