In 2008, Mario, Sandy, Keith, and I attempted a complete Picket Range traverse via Picket Pass. (We were joined on the hike in by Doug, Shail, Carla, and Yana, who were heading to Challenger.) Near the midpoint of our traverse, at Pickell Pass, whiteout burned up our available time, forcing us to backtrack and turn the trip into a West to East traverse of the Northern Pickets. |
